Training and workshop

Change and Reform in Liberia begin with the individual, according to the book Reform: A Liberian Development Manifesto. Learning and understanding what the Reform means, its impacts, how it will be implemented, and how the message will be communicated are important.

Our training and workshops view young people as the engine room for this change. It will train them in the art and concept of a national systemic and Institutional change. How the reforms and restructuring will merge, consolidate, and transfer ministries, agencies, institutions, and state-owned enterprises to other branches of government and the private sector.

Young people will learn Liberia’s new purpose.   How to transition from the County Administration system and structures to the District-City-State.  Understand how Districts and their residents are empowered to make decisions about their affairs locally.

How to divests 40% of the power, authority, and cost of the executive, including the “Imperial Presidency. Move from personality-driven loyalty leadership structures and systems to a merit-based, data-driven work culture, toward local districts and their residents.

Participants will also learn to spread the message of Reform and the creation of the new country, and to calculate new ways to measure National Progress, Income, and Poverty Level.

The training is for everyone, including those in the diaspora. We stop waiting for a messiah; we are our saviors.

Discussions & Debates

Our discussions and debates are our “Arena of Ideas” used as the “Stress Tests” for our national blueprints.  Rooted in the principles of Reform: A Liberian Development Manifesto, these sessions are designed to move the national conversation away from emotional rhetoric and toward Systemic Logic.

The key discussion theme will be drawn from the book.  We believe that a plan that cannot withstand rigorous debate will not withstand the realities of the Liberia we want to create.

Our objective is to ensure that every discussion hosted by the Reform Movement follows a technical structure.  We move beyond “who said what” to focus on “what works.”

If a participant proposes a policy, they must be prepared to show its impact on the National Progress Formula.

Our discussions and debates are not about attacking politicians, but about dealing with the systems and structures they manage.  We debate the systems and structures, not the men, evaluating the Gap between what a policy promises and what the system actually delivers.

We encourage local debate and discussion at events, intellectual centers, schools, universities, and summits.  These efforts will be complemented by promotion and marketing on social media, local radio and TV, and proprietary online shows and webinars.

Public Policy & Research

Our Public Policy & Research Division serves as the “Intellectual and strategic Arm” of the movement, responsible for stress-testing current government structures and designing the technical replacements required for Forward and Upward movement.

Our research and policy approach are designed to dismantle the “Old State” logic of patronage, county Administrative system, and replace it with the “District City State System and Structures.

We provide rigorous, data-driven audits of various branches of government, ministries, agencies, and state-owned enterprises to identify where “leakage” (Political Patronage) impedes the delivery of services to citizens. Constantly research and advocate policies that are based on education, evidence, and a message to the public to pass petitions and referendums, including providing updates and new ideas in the reform process.

We focus on reforming systems and structures and improving the quality of life.

Live Shows and Events

Our activities to spread the message include live streaming, speaking engagements, planned debates, and discussions. We also intend to attend music concerts and other Liberian events to promote REFORM.

– Facebook and TikTok live streams

– Intellectual centers, universities, and high school campuses

Fundraising Efforts

In addition to soliciting donations, The Reform Liberia will host book sales and develop products to sell at live shows and public gatherings to support our operations.

Outreach and Mobilization

While live shows, public events, and debate forums aim to promote Reform, we will develop targeted programs to recruit and mobilize individuals into the organization. The goal is to engage Reform supporters and turn them into agents of change. Members will also participate in community outreach to help spread our message.
